Comments

Comments serve many purposes. Comments tell the blogger the thoughts of their audience. Comments can be constructive and help the blogger write better. Comments can help the blogger understand his audience better. Furthermore comments can let a blogger know what his readers want to hear. Comments can generate discussion and bring more attention to blog posts.

Some blog comments are better than others. A good comment would be well thought out. Also a good comment would reply to the post specifically. A good blog comment can be big or small in length.

Chapter 2 Notes

-I never thought about it before; how public relations has existed since the beginning of time.

-As towns turned into cities and technology increased, public relations is a practice that has grown overtime as well.

-I found it fascinating to read in the book how public relations developed differently in different countries.

-Since the worlds entire population is more connected than it has ever been before; individuals working in PR need to understand multiple cultures better. Since one of the things I would like to do is work in Asia, I have taken many Asian and intercultural classes.

-I am one of those people who constantly love to learn, so I like the fact that as time goes on there is always new things to learn in public relations.

What I want out of a Job in PR

-I would like to have a PR job somewhere in the music industry.

-Music has always been what I have had the most interest in. That is why getting a PR job related to music would be perfect for me.

-Writing editorials or opinions in a music magazine sounds good to me.

-Another idea I like is promoting a band or a record label.

-Doing a music talk show, or something concerning a music television show would be great too.
